Required for Bognor Regis company to provide support to both warehouse operations and the customer in investigating all non-conformity communicated from the manufacturing plant.

Monday to Friday (rotating shift pattern), 8hrs shift between 5:30am to 14:30 and late shift between 14:30 to midnight.

Must be flexible to work over three shift rotating patterns as well as overtime when required.

NATURE & SCOPE OF MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Ensure the safety of all employees in the warehouse as a priority.

*Initiation of NCR Investigations documented on Customer SharePoint database including Haulier and Supplier Issues.

*Detailed investigations into Point of; and potential root cause of non-conformity for Line Stop, Missing at Point of Fit, Lost Volume occurrences and non-conforming material.

* Make proposals for Containments and Countermeasures.

*To work closely with opposing shift to enable accurate data and containment is available for leadership to discuss at Shell 2 daily review.

PURPOSE AND SUBJECT OF INTERACTION WITH INTERNAL / EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS

*Directly support own and peer groups to solve problems related process and product quality, prioritizing work based on volume and quality (ppm) and non-conforming material reduction targets.

*Work closely with customer LQT and management team in driving quality campaigns and initiatives

*Spend time at the customer manufacturing facility to solve end to end quality problems, not just Internal Agreed issues.

*Support process improvement activities according to company GK Principles and utilising lean tools and techniques.

*Ensure timely output of all containments and countermeasures and communicate status and any escalate any roadblocks to line manager

CHALLENGES RELATED TO INNOVATION AND CHANGE

*Support internal GK and external customer and legislative audits through preparation and provision of information on standard processes.

* Request and implement process changes from planning / engineering / IT department.

*Suggest process changes to operational management relating to improvements in safety, quality, delivery,

morale, cost and environment.

*Train, coach/mentor, review performance and motivate employees to improve their performance and data preparation and presentation to support disciplinary, absence and grievance processes relating to quality performance within line with company policies.

*Support induction of new employees (internal, external, permanent, temporary)

* Observe and record process disturbance to inform process improvements.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of working within a warehouse environment.

• Experience of leading teams.

• An understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Aware of manual handling techniques.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license

30-33k per annum.
